Screenwriting, Direction and Production

2006: Co-director and Co-writer of the feature film "
Close To Home"


January 2000: Adaptation and editing of the documentary script “The New Guard” for “Kol Haemet Productions”.


June 2001: Editing the script of the made for TV drama “A Kite’s Tail” for “Hamon Production”.  Screenwriters: Miri Rosovski and Orit Kimmel. Director: Shiri Tzur.

Co-Writing the script for the full-length feature “Close to Home”, with Gary Billu.


January 2002: The script is a finalist in the script categorization by the Israel Film Foundation, and will later be submitted to the foundation for a “production package” approval.


December 2000: The “Close to Home” project is awarded a grant from the European Union’s “Medea Foundation”.


January 1997: “The Close to Home” project is awarded a grant for script development by the Israel Film Foundation.


September 1997: The “Daughter of Iftach” full-length feature is awarded a grant for script development by the Israel Film Foundation. Co-Screenwriter – Itzhak Laor.


1991: Screenplay, production and direction of the full length film,
“A Summer at Erica’s” (Film Productions, 75 min.).


1987: Research, screenplay, production and direction of a documentary film about dancer Dvora Bertonov

Awards


“Summer at Erica’s” won the following awards:

June 1993: Best Acting Award in the full-length fiction films contest in the Valencia Festival for Young Filmmakers.

December 1991: Four Awards in the Mugraby Contest: best direction, screenwriting, production and acting.

1988: The Best Screenplay Award from the Aliza Shagrir Foundation.

1996: A judge in the short film contest in the Valencia Festival for Young Filmmakers.
