20 professionals in the audiovisual industry were selected from the Middle East, to participate at the AFIC seminar, financed by the EUROMED Audiovisual II Programme of the European Commission.
The 2 weeks of AFIC seminar aims at providing participants with extensive knowledge of film and audiovisual financing, the principles of marketing and communication applied to this sector and the practicalities of distribution.
2005-2009 Film Distribution Manager in MAGYX- International content company, specializes in development, production and distribution for cross-media platforms.
The position entailed:
International sales; direct contact with buyers (broadcasting stations, VOD), closing deals and establishing sales agreements (specific clearance by territories).
Running a catalogue of over 500 hours of different genres.
Films' Acquisition from all over the world for all broadcasting platforms (VOD, Television etc.)
Representation of producers and directors as well as Film schools.
International Film Festivals; Specializing in film promotion for International Film Festivals, setting up an array of festivals for every film according to the different criterions, direct contact with hundreds of festivals and management teams.
2004-2005 Head Assistant to the CEO of DANCEWORKS, Mayfair, London.
2003-2004 Habima National Theatre: was in charge of operating requisites and costumes in plays; produced and organized this array while maintaining a steady contact with the play's managers, directors, designers and the actors' ensemble.
